Our role

We coordinate the development of the wellness center at Hotel Isla Blanca from the first planning meeting to opening day: the market study, the choice of a wellness brand, the layout and the hydrotherapy circuit, interior design, construction supervision, OS&E, staffing and launch. Biweekly planning and follow-up meetings keep the owner, the architect, the engineers, the brand and the operation aligned at every step.

Our story

Between the Caribbean Sea and the Chacmuchuc mangrove lagoon, Sunset World is creating an environmentally responsible luxury resort for all guests: prefabricated construction, solar energy and water desalination, with deep respect for the local culture.

Scope of work

  • Integral coordination: biweekly planning and follow-up meetings with the owner, and coordination between owner, market study company, wellness brand, suppliers, architects, engineers and operations
  • Market study: selection of the specialized company through interviews, quotes and a technical and commercial comparison, then follow-up with the firm chosen
  • Wellness brand or franchise: contact and interviews with international brands, evaluation of operational, technical and financial requirements, comparison and selection, work plan with the hotel, and final definition of the spa and wellness offer
  • Facility layout: work sessions with the architect for space distribution and placement of hydrotherapy elements — reception and spa lobby, boutique, changing rooms, single and double treatment rooms, consult rooms, relaxation areas, juice bar and back of house
  • Hydrotherapy circuit: definition of sauna, steam, jacuzzi, special showers, ice room and hydro-massages, supplier comparison and selection, executive project with engineering and hydraulic and electrical calculations, and supervision of the supplier's work on site
  • Spa interior design: technical guidance on materials, lighting and air conditioning, safety standards, and review and approval of renders and the final aesthetic proposal
  • Construction supervision: periodic site visits, compliance reports, technical adjustments with architects and engineers, and progress reviews with the owner and the brand
  • OS&E: quotes, comparisons and negotiation, selection of items by quality, price and brand guidelines, and supervision of purchasing, invoicing and payment logistics
  • Staff and launch: interviews and selection of personnel per brand guidelines, coordination of specialized training, and supervision of opening and start-up
